PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONThe Curtis Controllers Model 1221-7401 offer quiet, cost-efficient, and smooth control of motor speed and torque on industrial electric vehicles such as industrial trucks, vehicles for material handling, personnel carriers, tow tractors, scrubbers, sweepers, small forklifts and walkie, broom trucks, and scissors-lift. It provides infinite brake control and variable speed drives, high-efficiency yield, and silent operation from power MOSFET design, utilizing a temperature compensation circuit, an undervoltage cutback function, and a simple setup with no adjustments needed. Optional features include high pedal disable (HDP), static return to off (SRO), delayed bypass (1A) drives bypass contactor, and emergency reverse.
FEATURES Infinite brake control and variable speed drives High-efficiency yield and silent operation from power MOSFET design Utilizing a temperature compensation circuit An Hndervoltage cutback function A simple setup with no adjustments needed To monitor components such as the battery, connections of the throttle, and bypass contactor, among others, the system utilizes fault detection circuitry to prevent runaway conditions Utilizes tin-plated solid copper bus bars Control wiring push-on connectors The coils of contactor drivers for forward, reverse, and bypass are protected from shorts
OPTIONAL FEATURES High pedal disable (HDP) that enables the user to monitor the status of the throttle when turned on and disables it from operating when in neutral Static return to off (SRO) requires returning the forward and reverse selectors to neutral before allowing an output Delayed bypass (1A) drives bypass contactor Emergency reverse where the user can activate the “belly-button” to increase the plugging current.
