CHARGE PROFILES
Float (QSSE): Regulates the battery voltage at 2.3 volts per cell. Best for starting batteries, and gels.
Gas & timed shut off (QSSET): Timer trips at 2.3 gassing threshold. Batteries are allowed to gas to a maximum of 2.55 volts per cell before shut off. Best for deep cycle batteries
Gas & float (QSSAE): Timer trips at 2.3 gassing threshold. Batteries are allowed to gas to a maximum of 2.55 volts per cell before dropping into an indefinite float of 2.26 volts per cell. Best for deep-cycle batteries that may see long periods of inactivity.
AGM (QSSAGM): Timer trips at 2.3 gassing threshold. Batteries are allowed to gas to a maximum of 2.43 volts per cell before dropping into an indefinite float of 2.26 volts per cell. Best for AGM batteries.
